Tobacco Free Teens
American Lung Association of North Dakota
Currently the American Lung Association of North Dakota is conducting a Tobacco Free Teens (TFT) Course® for teens that violate tobacco ordinances for two major cities. We have also been training Facilitators for the TFT courses and the Freedom From Smoking® course in the state of North Dakota. Throughout the state the trained facilitators on these courses have been conducting sessions. For information on these programs in your area of North Dakota call 1-800-252-6325.
We provide a variety of educational materials on environmental health issues, asthma, tobacco information, community lung health and lung disease. We do presentations to schools about health effects of smoking, radon, and asthma. We will also do presentations on the topic's listed above for organizations.
We continue to attended health fairs, conventions, and home builders show to provide information on radon, radon resistance new construction and lung health information.
