The American Lung Association’s® Advocacy efforts have fueled the fight against tobacco; for healthy air quality standards; and many areas involving lung health. In addition to working to ensure that tobacco settlement dollars go toward protecting our children from the ravages of smoking, the ALA of Ohio has been heavily involved in updating that state’s tuberculosis laws to reflect current medical practice and today’s mobile population.
